SATURDAY, December 21, ALL DAY, ROSEBURG-SUTHERLIN CBC

This is one of the funnest birding events of the year. On the CBC, birders go out in teams to specific areas to count birds all day long! Participants include all skill levels and new folks are paired with those with more experience. It’s a great learning experience and great friendships are made. When the sun goes down we meet at the Roseburg Public Library for some gourmet seafood chowder, meat and veggie chilies, and other voluntary potluck items, share stories of the day and count down the total species found. For more information, see www.umpquabirds.org/cbc, and/or contact Matt Hunter.
