Liz Gayner will be leading the annual Raptor Run (raptor birding field trip) this year – which will be on Saturday, January 28, 2023.  There is little walking involved, and absolutely no running!  Bring your binoculars, spotting scope if you have one, and lunch.  We’ll meet at the BLM parking lot (777 NW Garden Valley Blvd, Roseburg) at 8:30 AM.  We will plan on some carpooling.  Don’t worry if you don’t have binoculars or a spotting scope.  We will share.  For more information, call Liz at (541) 784-8990.

Trip Difficulty:  The trip will primarily take place on North Bank Road.  Activity level will involve getting in and out of cars, standing or birding from vehicles.

Facilities:  ADA wheelchair accessible vault restrooms are available at both the East and West Entrances of the North Bank Habitat parking lots.  Cell phone service is not available on much of the road.

Parking:  Most stops will involve dirt or graveled pullouts.  Some pullouts and the BLM parking lots are wide enough to accommodate wheelchair vans.
