Elizabeth (‘Liz”) Gayner, is a Wildlife Biologist with the USDI Bureau of Land Management in Roseburg and specializes in birds.  She has been involved in a Western Purple Martin banding project on BLM’s North Bank Habitat Management Area since 2003, which has resulted in original research and insights.  In her presentation Liz gave the natural history of Purple Martins and the results of her research.

This program took place in the  Ford Room of the Roseburg Public Library with 40 people attending.  UVAS thanks RPL and the Roseburg ESD for making the Ford Room available to the public.
